Hair Care and Styling Tips

Did you know: If you have medium or coarse textured hair almost any style of cut will work for you. However, when choosing a style, keep the shape of your face in mind.

If you have fine limp hair: The best cut for you is a bob. This way, every strand is one length giving hair more body.

The best way to keep your hair healthy: Use a 4.5 to 5.5 PH Balance shampoo like Natural Cleanse followed by a deep moisturizing conditioner like E-Pak at least once a week. Leave E-Pak on clean hair for ten to fifteen minutes for a deep condition, especially if you have relaxed your hair. Continuous weekly use of E-Pak will reconstruct, moisturize and completely nourish your hair-all at the same time!

Trim the ends of the hair: Every six to eight weeks to prevent split ends.

Indulge your Hair: With an at home spa treatment. Wash it with Natural Cleanse and then add a luxurious amount of E-Pak Conditioner. Pull back your hair and wrap it and let your hair absorb the conditioner for a day. Then the next morning wash, rinse, condition and style your hair as usual.

Blow drying your hair: Is an excellent way to begin styling. To avoid frizz and dry lack-luster hair, be sure to close the hair cuticle after washing by leaving a styling lotion in your hair (such as Relevance) while you blow dry. Dry the straight hair and follow with the Elgin Charles Stealth Ceramic Flat Iron to seal the cuticle, especially on the long hair. Then curl and style as usual.

To add extra shine and shimmer to your hair: Use Poshtress, a small amount goes a long way-in other words a dab will do! Just add a small amount to your hair daily to add moisture and shine. It’s specially formulated to keep edges looking soft and smooth without weighing down your hair.

If you want even more Glamour’s Shine: Use Luminous Spritz, for extra glimmer and shine to even the dullest hair. For an extra boost spray at the very end of styling and let that hair shine, shine, shine!

If your hair has been severely damaged:
If you are not a candidate for the Elgin Charles Lithium Relaxer, think about getting a hair weave or extensions.
